Tasha Franklin, PTA, LMT

I am a John Barnes trained myofascial release therapist with 8 years of experience as a PTA in orthopedic physical therapy. I will be offering MFR starting mid July 2024.
I help people live an active pain-free life, and empower them with the knowledge and tools needed to participate in the activities they love without pain medication, injections, or multiple trips to the doctor. I was introduced to John F. Barnes Myofascial Release as a continuing education class. I immediately knew this work was important and quickly integrated techniques into my work in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. I began witnessing my patients finding relief and moving better and feeling better in their bodies. I also began receiving regular MFR treatments and was amazed that I not only felt even better in my body, my heart felt lighter and joyful. It is now my pleasure to offer myofascial release at the Peace Clinic in July 2024.

Barry Duncan is a John F. Barnes trained Expert level Myofascial Release Therapist, a licensed massage therapist, and a licensed physical therapist assistant. Barry has had great success treating patients utilizing myofascial release techniques since 2015. His integrative approach to therapy has been effective in restoring balance and function to the body, promoting healing from acute injury, chronic pain, and postural disfunctions.

Mona takes a collaborative approach to body work partnering with clients to co-design and deliver a personalized experience with a focus on physical comfort, well-being, and empowerment through John Barnes Myofascial Release Therapy. John Barnes Myofascial Release addresses trauma, inflammatory responses, and/or surgical procedure recovery that create myofascial restrictions. These restrictions can produce tensile pressures, up to 2000 pound per square inch, on pain sensitive structures that do not show up in most testing.
